Jessie Petrow-Cohen
Jessie Petrow-Cohen is a senior at Columbia High School and will be attending Duke University beginning in the fall. She is a senior staff member of the Columbian and has had articles featured in multiple issues of the paper. In addition to journalism, Jessie is interested in the fields of psychology and statistics and enjoys spending her time working with children, eating, playing with animals and obsessively binge watching netflix. Margot Radding:
Margot, a senior at Columbia High School in Maplewood, New Jersey, has been writing for the school paper for a year. She has also worked continuously on her very own blog! (See link below). Besides journalism, Margot is largely interested in psychology and neurology. She plans to study one of the two at Carleton College next year. In her free time, Margot goes on long distance runs, volunteers at the animal shelter, and works with kids. Going forward, she plans to study abroad in Haiti, perhaps with a ¨Doctors Without Borders¨ program. She hopes to live in India, or another country, where she'll work and indulge in the new culture for at least a year before settling down. She has big dreams and a big heart.

Laura Ben-Asher:
Laura is a 17-year-old just finishing up her senior year at Columbia High School in Maplewood, New Jersey. Laura will be taking a gap year during 2014-2015 before she starts college, in which she will be traveling, working, interning, and taking advantage of every opportunity possible! She enjoys almost anything having to do with forms of media: from broadcast journalism, to music and theatre, to film and television; as well as her other passions, which lie in food and petting baby animals. In college, Laura hopes to explore writing, history/political science, and theatre/film, while investing time in service work and new hobbies.

Jonah Williams:
Jonah Williams is a Senior at Columbia High School in Maplewood, New Jersey, a senior staff writer for the Columbian Newspaper, an aspiring researcher, and makes a mean apple pie. Jonah has done a significant amount of work for the Columbian and free-lance journalist mediums based on cognitive thought, scientific reasoning, and new and exciting pieces of technology. Going forward, Jonah hopes to continue his work in the scientific journalism field, as he believes all people should be make aware of the universe that surrounds us each and every day. Noah Kambili
Noah Kambili is a senior at Columbia High School and a cadet candidate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. He is a staff writer of The Columbian, the paper in which he has had two articles published. Noah enjoys studying of linguistics and history, as well as fencing, running, and meeting new people. He hopes to one day serves his country as President of the United States.

Cameron Macintosh
Cameron MacIntosh is a senior at Columbia High School as well as the Manhattan School of Music precollege division, and will attend the Juilliard School in the fall of 2014 under the direction of Wynton Marsalis. In his free time, Cameron enjoys drumming, reading, spending time with friends and family, and running. The 2013-14 school year is his first year taking a course related to the subject of journalism, for which he has worked as a writer for the Columbian. Cameron has traveled playing drums to places such as New York City, Boston, Colorado, Canada, California, and Japan with various groups from both NYC and abroad, in addition to notable musicians such as Chick Corea, Anthony Hamilton, Al Jarreau, and Joe Lovano. He plans on pursuing music professionally in college, with a minor in either business or economics.
